Oprah Guest Stint a Done Deal(E! Online)E! Online – NBC announced today that superstar TV-show host Oprah Winfrey shot her guest stint on 30 Rock this past Saturday at Silvercup Studios. As I originally reported when I broke the news that she was in talks to do the show, Oprah will be playing herself in scenes opposite Emmy nominee Tina Fey.

 

 

iPod touch “a joy to hold and use”

In his review of iPod touch (2nd generation), Tom Rose calls it “the best handheld gadget for playing games, browsing the Internet, watching movies and, of course, listening to music.” Playing a few games on iPod touch also confirmed for Rose “what many gaming experts have been claiming. The iPhone and iPod touch are now formidable handheld gaming platforms.” Rose gives iPod touch a solid “A.”

Stephen Colbert to Host a Very Special Christmas Special

Stephen Colbert will host a Christmas special this year on Comedy Central, the cable channel announced. “A Colbert Christmas: The Greatest Gift of All!” will be shown Nov. 23 as a one-hour program and will feature musical performances by artists including John Legend, Elvis Costello, Toby Keith, Willie Nelson, Feist and Jon Stewart.
