Something new I’m starting, since I’m very smart with Football I figured I’d share my thoughts.
Oregon State 27 (2-2) , No. 1 USC 21 (2-1)
So on Thursday the crazy weekend began with a big upset. USC really wasn’t supposed to lose this year but low and behold Oregon State comes in and upsets the big #1. I disagree the USC should have been #1 in the first place but you know what there is always hype around it.
No. 2 Oklahoma 35 (4-0) , No. 24 TCU 10 (4-1)
Oklahoma won big time this weekend over a nobody really and now are ranked #1. They really won’t stay there for much longer. If they do stay, I guarantee they won’t be there at the end of the year.
No. 8 Alabama 41 (5-0) , No. 3 Georgia 30 (4-1)
Georgia came in this year a #1 but got disrespected because of USC hype. Turns out both teams suck. Alabama brought it hard in the first-half. It was crazy, but then Georgia must have had a heck of a halftime because they were able to at least bring the game close at the end.
Mississippi 31 (3-2) , No. 4 Florida 30 (3-1)
One of my predictions for the Championship was Florida. But because of a missed PAT and Tebow unable to make a 4th and 1, Florida lost. Of course Florida could come back and make it to the title game but it’s a long road.
No. 5 LSU 34 (4-0) , Mississippi State 24 (1-4)
I was really hoping LSU would lose this weekend, but they didn’t. I see LSU losing in the upcoming weeks.
Michigan 27 (2-2) , No. 9 Wisconsin 25 (3-1)
Seriously Michigan beat Wisconsin? How the heck did that happen? Obviously I know how but seriously I never thought that would happen.
Rankings:
| AP Top 25 |
| 1. Oklahoma (43) 4-0 1,599 |
| 2. Alabama (21) 5-0 1,565 |
| 3. LSU 4-0 1,466 |
| 4. Missouri (1) 4-0 1,453 |
| 5. Texas 4-0 1,362
Final thoughts: Mizzou goes into Nebraska this week where we haven’t won in about 30 years. Other big games are No. 14 Ohio State at No. 18 Wisconsin. No other big games this week so shouldn’t see anything out of the ordinary. |
